WWHEL, WHE to sponsor women’s retreat Jan. 20

UW-Eau Claire women staff members are invited to attend the Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Women’s Retreat from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 20 in Room 119 of the Nursing building at UW-Eau Claire. Wisconsin Women in Higher Education Leadership and Women in Higher Education are sponsoring the event to help women employees revitalize before the hustle of the spring semester begins. The cost to participate is $10 for admission and lunch or $15 for admission, lunch and a chair massage. Checks, made payable to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation (with #1569 WWHEL in the memo section), should be sent to Vicki Reed in Hilltop Center. McIntyre Library tours to be offered in February

McIntyre Library logoMcIntyre Library staff members will conduct
30-minute library tours Feb. 1-11, briefly describing services, assistance and collections. Tour times are varied (see schedule below) and are designed to meet the needs of a variety of students. While the tours are student-focused, others also are welcome. Tours will begin in the library's Grand Corridor during the following days and times:
  • 5:30 p.m. Mondays.
  • 3 p.m. Tuesdays.
  • 10 a.m. Wednesdays.
  • Noon Thursdays.
