Director of assessment finalists to interview on campus
Finalists for the position of director of assessment at UW-Eau Claire will interview on campus April 1 and 4. Each finalist will lead two open forums, and all UW-Eau Claire employees and students are invited to attend. The finalists and open forum dates/times are as follows, with the candidates' names linked to their application materials:
- April 1 — Dr. Jennifer Fager, 9 a.m., Arrowhead Room, Davies Center; and 11 a.m., Alumni Room, Davies Center.
- April 4 — Kathleen Thatcher, 9 a.m., Presidents Room, Davies Center; and 11 a.m., Presidents Room, Davies Center.

Nominations sought for Excellence in Performance Award
The Administrative and/or Professional Academic Staff Awards Committee invites nominations for the annual Excellence in Performance Award to be given in fall 2011. The UW-Eau Claire Foundation will present $1,500 to the recipient. Any administrative and/or professional member of the academic staff with a 50 percent or greater appointment may be nominated for the award. Any member of the faculty, academic or classified staffs, administration or student body is welcome to nominate someone. Nominees will be considered for three years.
Those who wish to make a nomination should return the completed nomination form to the Administrative and/or Professional Academic Staff Awards Committee, Chancellor's Office, Schofield 204. The nomination deadline is April 4. More information.

- Summer percussion camp for high school students to run June 13-17.
