Communication sciences and disorders series begins April 6
The UW-Eau Claire communication sciences and disorders department will host a series of professional seminars in April. The seminars include discussions of research by UW-Eau Claire faculty and students, and regional researchers/experts in the field of communication sciences and disorders. The presentations, which will be held in HSS 226, are as follows:
- April 6, 10 a.m.-noon: UW-Eau Claire alumna Erin Ellis will present "Everyday Applications of SMART Boards for SLPs."
- April 17, 5-7 p.m.: Dr. Jerry Hoepner, UW-Eau Claire assistant professor of communication sciences and disorders, and Dana Kuehn, UW-Eau Claire CSD graduate student, will present "Using the Partner Support Behaviors Profile to Evaluate Conversations: Evidence from TBI and Non-Brain-Injured Interactions."
- April 27, 1-3 p.m.: UW-Eau Claire CSD faculty members will present "Making Ethical Decisions as a Practicing SLP: Real-Life Applications Across Work Settings."
