Brown bag presentation to address work with student veterans

Faculty and staff are invited to a brown bag presentation titled "Best Practices for Working with Student Veterans" from
12:10-12:50 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Old Library 1142. Faculty members Dr. Kim Pierson, physics and astronomy, and Dr. Jeremy Hein, sociology, will discuss the unique challenges student veterans may face while transitioning from the military to the classroom.
