The Saving Race set for Oct. 22

UW-Eau Claire will hold the sixth annual running of The Saving Race Oct. 22 to coincide with UW-Eau Claire's Parents' Weekend. The 5K run and 1-mile family run/walk, organized by the Center for Alcohol Studies and Education, will begin at 10 a.m. Oct. 22 in the Haas Fine Arts Center area. In honor of friends who take care of one another, this year's theme is "Be an Everyday Hero." Race participants are encouraged to come dressed as a superhero. The Saving Race is held in memory of Michael Noll and other UW-Eau Claire students who have died in alcohol-related tragedies. More information.
