Faculty, staff participate in University Personnel Structures project

Through its 2011-13 biennial budget, the state of Wisconsin authorized and directed the UW System to develop two distinct new personnel systems: one for all UW-Madison employees and one for all other UW System employees. These new systems are to be implemented on July 1, 2013.

The following members of UW-Eau Claire's faculty and staff are serving in the following capacities for the University Personnel Structures (UPS) project:

• Teresa O'Halloran, affirmative action: UPS Task Force
• Donna Weber, human resources: UPS Steering Group, Recruitment and Assessment work group
• Kris Bremness, human resources: Employee Movement work group
• Jack Connell, facilities management: Employment Environment work group
• Sasha Showsh, biology: Compensation work group
• Fred Kolb, economics: Benefits work group
