Proposed graduate course changes in College of Arts and Sciences

The following courses have been proposed as new or revised graduate course offerings or for deletion from the College of Arts and Sciences graduate curriculum. If you have questions or concerns, contact Dr. Margaret Cassidy at cassidml@uwec.edu or 715-836-3152 within 30 days of this notice, posted June 4, 2012.

New Course Proposals
AIS 543, Contemporary American Indian Communities, 3 crs.
HIST/WMNS 513, Gender, Sex, and Science in European History, 3 crs.
HIST 601, Public History in England, 3 crs.

Revision of Existing Courses
MATH 524, Linear Algebra and Matrix Theory, 3 crs. (change of credit hours, course components and timetable/outline.)
MATH 651, Teaching Mathematics with Technology for EA-A Certification, 3 crs. (change of title, prerequisites, when offered and credit restrictions.)

Deletion from Curriculum
MATH 653, Integrated Mathematics and Science Using Technology for Grades 5-9 Teachers, 2 crs.
