As directed by Gov. Scott Walker, the flag of the United States and the flag of the state of Wisconsin will be flown at half-staff at all buildings, grounds and military installations of the state of Wisconsin beginning at sunrise Aug. 6 and ending at sunset Aug. 10. This will be done as a mark of respect for victims of the Aug. 5 tragedy at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin. More information.
In addition, flags will be flown at half-staff Aug. 7. This will be done as a mark of respect for Deputy Sheriff Sergio Aleman of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, who died in the line of duty July 31. More information.
