Since 1982 UW-Eau Claire's women's studies program has recognized exemplary student projects and research nominated by faculty mentors. Emphasizing the contributions and roles of women, these works demonstrate the importance of creativestudent-faculty collaboration. In addition to originality, timeliness and contributions to the field, award criteria include emphasis on women and the potential impact of the project. Papers and projects in fulfillment of class requirements during the sessions of spring, summer or fall 2010 are eligible for nomination. Students do not need to be enrolled during the fall 2010 or spring 2011 semesters to be eligible. Information about entry categories and awards is available online.
