The inaugural Provost's Honors Symposium for Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity, to be held from 1-5:30 p.m. May 6, 2011, in Schneider Hall, will give selected students from across the university a venue in which to present their significant research, scholarship and creative projects to the university community.Departments and faculty members are invited to complete the nomination form to recommend top-notch projects by student researchers and scholars, and/or creative activity. The nomination deadline is Feb. 18, 2011.
The University Honors Council, in consultation with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and with nominating faculty and departments, will serve as the selection committee. Final selections will be made by March 4. Please note: The names of all nominees and their abstracts will be published in the symposium program and posted to the symposium website (now in development).
