UW-Eau Claire's Student Success Network will host a presentation April 7 for faculty, staff and administrators about the Supplemental Instruction program. The nationally acclaimed program for student success and retention seeks to reduce D, F and W rates in historically difficult courses.
Dr. Maureen Hurley, from the International Center for Supplemental Instruction at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, will give a 90-minute presentation at 9:30 a.m. that will be repeated at 2 p.m. Both presentations will take place in the Hibbard Penthouse, located on the top floor of Hibbard Humanities Hall.
Space is limited for the April 7 presentations. Those interested in attending should RSVP to Linda Spaeth by April 6 at spaethlj@uwec.edu. More information.
